The summer market is busier than usual and properties are going under agreement. Most reports say that market recovery is in sight and the price correction is over or at the end. A lot of Spring prices were set too high and are adjusting. Prices went downward throughout 2005, 2006 and 2007. Rates are still low and fluctuate back and forth about 1/4 point. Properties priced right, are certainly selling. Properties are worth more like what they were in 2002 or 2003, depending on the property. The prices are in my view, excellent for Buyers! A great time to buy. My "Right Price Analysis" for Sellers will show you just the information you need to price it correctly at the beginning when you need to get it sold in a reasonable period of time. Longer market time has led to more time for decision making. There are still some multiple offer situations. As always, valuable properties at low prices are still hard to find. I also believe that the prices will be stable for a few years with minimal increases. Now it is more important than ever to have a Real Estate professional on your side no matter what your Real Estate goals are. You need representation!
