Spring Market stuttered back
Lots of reasons for the stutter of the market, is weather rain was keeping everyone in, walking thru homes and carring mud on shoes wasn't appealing to buyer or seller. The drop in stocks, and jobs being lost or relocated. Interest rates are still at an affordable rate, with alot more programs for consumers.
The key to selling home is being open to hear everything that is said. When you have emtional ties to a home, things look differantly. When we as agents comes in and tells you to fix or repair, even paint, it is a way to make your home more of what buyers want. Being a market of supply being up and demand being down, you want your home to sparkle above all the rest.
Buyer's are more educated about what is going on because of the internet, alot more visibilty is out there. Buyer's know if they want something and wait, sometimes it works, or even coming to middle ground on price negotiations works. The days of buyer's asking $50,000.00 less is over. Sellers are becoming more aware of what is being sold in the market.Prices have adjusted and if homes are priced correctly they do sell.
Everyone should have representation whether you are a buyer or a seller looking in this market.
